Calpe, Costa Blanca
Calpe is a beautiful town with many sun kissed Mediterranean beaches & is well known for artists on the Costa Blanca of Spain.
It lies in the province of Alicante & provides an ideal base for your Villa rental holiday accommodation or for the rental of your holiday home Apartment.
Calpe was originally an ancient fishing village but now has about 22,000 inhabitants and offers enchanting views of the rock of Ifach. The rock of Ifach, combined with the Mediterranean climate
is a main attraction & has brought people to Calpe for centuries.
Calpe is surrounded by four large sandy beaches that also lie under the shadows of the imposing "el peñon de Ifach" (the rock of Ifach) and a beautiful protected mountain wilderness area.
Close to the base of the 330 meter high Peñon are the ancient Roman salt flats that provides shelter to hundreds of migrating birds.
There are many excursions available in Calpe that allow you to take in of the scenery in the area & there are many sporting activities to enjoy such as windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, tennis, bowls etc, etc. You can also enjoy the nightlife activities as Calpe has much to offer & it has numerous bars and restaurants to supply some great food, drink & entertainment.
